INFUSIONS

IV Hydration Therapy is a wellness approach that may help provide relief from symptoms such as fatigue, stress, and occasional weakened immunity. By delivering essential nutrients directly into the bloodstream, IV Therapy bypasses the digestive system, potentially allowing for better absorption compared to oral supplements. At our Medspa, we offer a variety of IV drips that can be tailored to address different health and beauty concerns, helping you feel more revitalized and refreshed. However, individual results can vary, and a consultation with a healthcare provider is essential to determine if this therapy is right for you.

Iron Infusion – Venofer® (Iron Sucrose)

Venofer® is a well-established intravenous iron therapy with demonstrated effectiveness in replenishing iron stores when appropriately prescribed and medically monitored. IV iron may help improve symptoms associated with iron-deficiency anemia, including fatigue, weakness, shortness of breath, and decreased energy.

Prior to treatment, laboratory testing is required, including a CBC, ferritin, and iron studies. Each client is reviewed by a prescribing provider to determine whether IV iron is appropriate and to create an individualized treatment plan.

Venofer is administered in doses of 100 mg or 200 mg per infusion, based on the provider’s order. At The Ivy Wellness, iron infusions are administered slowly over approximately 30–90 minutes, depending on the prescribed dose, with careful monitoring throughout treatment.

For your safety, clients are observed for at least 30 minutes after the infusion and must be clinically stable prior to discharge.

100 mg Venofer Infusion — $329

200 mg Venofer Infusion — $629

5-Infusion Series: 200 mg per infusion — $2,799

The 5-infusion series provides a total of 1,000 mg of Venofer administered over 5 separate infusions within a 14-day period, when ordered by the prescribing provider.

Our iron infusion pricing includes provider review, Venofer medication, RN administration, infusion supplies, our intentionally slower administration protocol, clinical monitoring throughout treatment, and a 30-minute post-infusion observation period.

Laboratory testing and provider evaluation are required prior to treatment. Dose and treatment schedule are determined by the prescribing provider.

about infusions

What is IV Hydration Therapy

IV Hydration Therapy, also known as IV Drip Therapy, involves the administration of fluids enriched with electrolytes, minerals, vitamins, and other nutrients directly into the bloodstream through an intravenous line. This method may allow for quicker and more efficient absorption of these nutrients, potentially aiding in hydration, energy levels, immune support, and overall well-being. IV Therapy is often used for various purposes, including recovery, beauty enhancement, and general wellness, but it is important to note that effectiveness can vary from person to person.

How IV Hydration Therapy Works

During an IV Hydration session, a trained practitioner will insert a small IV line into a vein, typically in your arm. The IV line is connected to a saline bag containing a customized blend of nutrients, vitamins, and electrolytes chosen based on your individual needs. As the solution is administered directly into the bloodstream, it may offer more efficient absorption compared to oral intake, where some nutrients may be lost through digestion. IV therapy aims to support your health and wellness, though the exact benefits and absorption rates can vary among individuals.

What to Expect

IV Hydration Therapy is generally considered a comfortable and minimally invasive treatment. Most patients report little to no pain when the IV is placed. Once the IV is inserted, the infusion process typically takes between 30 to 90 minutes, depending on the nutrient combination selected. During this time, you can relax, read, use your phone, or even take a nap. After the treatment, most people can return to their normal activities without downtime, though individual experiences may vary. Always follow any specific post-treatment guidance provided by your practitioner.
